Scalnica holiday center

Skalnica is located 800m from downtown Wisla on a slope of the Jarzebata Mountain. Its beautiful surroundings make it a place with a unique atmosphere that allows one to perfectly combine work, rest, recreation and entertainment. Skalnica is a perfect base for those that wish to explore the mountainside. Approximately 500m from Skalnica is a swimming pool complex, the green banks of the Vistula River and during the winter months, you can also access one of the 18 ski slopes that are located in the town of Wisla.

Wisla has irresistible charm and it is located at the base of the Barania Mountain. It's a magical place, being the source of the Queen of the Polish rivers, the Vistula. The Vistula begins with the turbulent Wiselka streams and the calm Malinka stream. It is delightfully situated in a valley and surrounded by gentle hillsides - it is often called "the pearl of Silesian Beskid" and not without reason! Both in the summer and winter months, this town is vibrant with life.

Those who visit Wisla have at their disposal various tourist trails in the mountains, a swimming pool, tennis courts and a kayak pond. Going on an excursion along the route of nature, seeing uniquely beautiful waterfalls of the White Wiselka - the Rodto Cascades, are highly recommended. The winter beauty of the Beskid Mountains enthralled many winter sport enthusiasts. There are 18 ski lifts in Wisla, including T-bar and bucket lifts. The slopes are adapted for organizing ski and snowboard Championships, winter contests and competitions both for beginner and professional sports people. Some slopes even have lighting and artificial snow. The ski jumps (Malinka, Center) and the prepared cross-country skiing routes (Kubalonka) are the real treats for the professionals. Another great attraction is the winter horse-and-cart sleigh ride by torchlight combined with a spectacular meal of mutton barbecue.

All the units are of a high standard and are situated on the southern side of the building with views to downtown Wisla and a gentle range of the Silesian Beskid. The guests have the dining room at their disposal with a chef that prepares a delicious array of homemade cuisine and this room can occupy up to 120 guests. Buffet breakfast is free of charge for all the guests throughout their stay at the resort. Also available are conference rooms for 40 - 140 persons, a drinks bar, a billiard room, monitored parking facility and a place to organize evening events with campfires. The resort can provide their guests with the ability to plan special family holidays as well. They are able to organize sightseeing outings, hiking trips, bus trips, winter or summer sleigh rides, etc.
