Bad Ischl is in the heart of the Salzkammergut and it is renowned as a Spa town, once the summer retreat of the Austrian Royal family. The town is a popular tourist destination, throughout both winter and summer and the most beautiful lakes and mountains surround it. In winter there is easy access to a wide range of skiing. The Katrinalm ski mountain is 10 minutes away from the apartments. This has a small beginner's area and an interesting intermediate run. Slightly further a-field is the Dachstein-West ski area and this can be reached by car or by the free ski bus, which comes round every 25 minutes. The Dachstein West ski pass has been extended this season to include more runs in the surrounding villages. It includes Postalm, a beginner's paradise, and the free ride area of Dachstein-Krippenstein. Bad Ischl has a good range of restaurants, bars and shops including the world famous Zauners Konditorei. For nonskiers the town boasts an excellent thermal bath facility, which offers a wide range of beauty therapies.

This resort is especially popular during the winter months, as they offer a variety of things to do for “WINTER FUN HOLIDAYS”. The resort has had a good interest in holidays that are geared towards individuals or groups where some prefer to ski but others just want to spend time in the area experiencing other things. Therefore, the resort is able to book Spa Treatments at the local Thermal Baths. There is also Ice Skating available, Tobogganing, special Winter Walks and Sleigh Rides. The resort is also offering family fun holidays where guests enjoy the Snow Funpark at Postalm with tubing, snow bikes and a children's play area. Naturally, they also have excellent downhill and cross country skiing in the area. The resort also provides Airport Transfers from Salzburg and Linz airports (this can be arranged directly with the resort once bookings have been confirmed)
